초등학교 도덕과 반편견 교육과정 개발 = Anti-prejudice Curriculum of Moral Education in Elementary School Education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper discusses anti-prejudice education and anti-prejudice curriculum. Anti-prejudice education help all students reject prejudice and discrimination directed toward outgroup. Anti-prejudice curriculum is a type of curriculum aimed specifically at preventing and stopping prejudice and discrimination of all kind. It encourages students to analyze morally their own prejudice and social prejudices. And it is implemented systematically and in integrated way at elementary school education. Because children's prejudice such as gender, racial and ethnic are more or less crystallized by age 10-12. In this paper, educational thought, educational thought, the ideal profile of educated person, contents, teaching-learning methods designed to help students overcome prejudice and stereotyping such as to use superordinate categories, dilemma discussion, writing essays supporting minority groups, arranging visits to the class by representatives of various groups, role playing being a member of another group, UCC, Brief Dramas using racial and ethnic themes field experiences and evaluation of anti-prejudice curriculum are suggested.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한국사회는 다문화사회로 이행하고 있다. 앞으로 다문화현상이 더욱 심화되어 갈 것으로 예측되는 상황에서 이 논문은 반편견교육과 반편견 교육과정을 논의하고 있다. 반편견교육은 모든 학생들이 편견과 차별을 거부하게 하는 교육이다. 이를 위한 구체적인 교육의 틀인 반편견 교육과정은 모든 종류의 편견과 차별을 방지하고 중지시키는 교육과정이다. 반편견 교육과정은 근본적으로 학생들이 자신과 사회의 편견과 차별들을 도덕적으로 분석하도록 고무한다. 반편견 교육과정은 특히 초등학교 교육에서 체계적으로, 그리고 도덕과 교육을 중심으로 통합적인 방식으로 실행되어야 한다. 아동의 편견은 대체로 10～12세경에 구체화되기 때문이다. 이 논문에서는 반편견 교육과정의 교육이념, 교육적 인간상, 편견과 고정관념을 극복하기 위해 수업에 적용되어야 하는 교수·학습 방법, 평가 방안을 제안하고 있다.
