This study analyzed the reflective journals and a class evaluation questionnaire to understand students` thoughts and feelings about the effectiveness of PBL on the course of the university level. The study target was 43 sophomore and junior students who took the ``Courseware Design`` course in the K university, The PBL was conducted for 10 weeks for three times. PBL was implemented with the blended learning using online e-class and offline classroom instruction. Students submitted the reflective journals after 1st PBL and 2ed PBL and an evaluation questionnaire after 3rd PBL. The contents of reflective journals were analyzed using the NVIVO 7.0 which is a analyzing program for qualitative research and the evaluation questionnaire was analyzed using the Excel program. The results of this study are follows. First, students experienced various effects of PBL, such as (1) Understanding of PBL, (2) Understanding of learning contents, (3) Understanding of cooperative learning, (4) Self-reflection, (5) Authentic experience, (6) Problem-solving skills, (7) Presentation skills. Second, students experienced the typical learning process of PBL. And for the learningresources, they tended to mainly rely on the Internet for the 1stPBL, but showed more systematic and specific searching methods as the PBL progress. Third, Related with the emotional features, students showed more a sense of insecurity such as frustration, difficulty, burden, etc. at first, but they seemed to feel more comfortable and easy for the second PBL and showed more confidence, satisfaction and a sense of achievement. Fourth, in the evaluation questionnaire, students answered the PBL was useful for learning and relatively satisfied with the PBL. However, there have been several difficulties and problems during the PBL process. So, the discussion and implication of it were provided.
