LMA 분석을 통한 강선영류 태평무의 움직임 특성 연구 = The Analysis of 『Taepyungmu』 through Laban Movement Analysis(LMA)

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study analyzed `Taepyungmu`, Important intangible cultural asset No. 92. Taepyungmu is inherited from Han Sung Jun who made up the stage dance to Kang Sun Young. In this study, based on the video, owned by Arts Council Korea, in which Kang Sun Young danced (total 13 minutes length) at the 11th Korea Dance Festival in 1989, it was classified by the rhythm on the basis of Laban Movement Analysis (LMA). The movement characteristics of each stages in Taepyungmu is that the maintenance of Dynamic Alignment, which is starting from the head to the heel, and from the right hand to left hand in physical aspect. From `Teobeolrim` stage, the upper parts of the body`s Hollowing Shape Flow is expressed and when it is setting into Salpuri rhythm this is much more strongly expressed. In respect of sequence of the movement, in Teobolrim, it often manifests the Successive Sequence, and in Salpuri, Simultaneous Sequence occasionally represented. About the use of Effort, every stages makes use of the combination between Mobile State(Flow&Time) and Passion Drive(Flow&Time&Weight). But what is more important thing is that through the combination of various Effort elements, it is the characteristics that movements of each stages is expressed in. Considering that those movement`s combination get achieved through Mobile State and Passion Drive both, the Mood of Taepyungmu`s movement is unified as the one even if rhythm is continuously changed per each stages. In use of the Space, `Nakgung` and `Olimchae` emphasize leg movements and two Dimensional Space(Plane) whereas `Teobolrim` and `Salpuri` emphasize arm movements and three Dimensional Space(Diagonal). In order to keep up the mood of Taepyungmu, what is important thing is that a dancer should sustain Shaping form from the introductory to the final. While leg movements and arm movements, the body itself acts like one unit and emphasizes the impression of Shaping rather than a separate movement. As seen from results of the analysis, Korea traditional dance includes some impromptu and the form of movement is inherited a little bit different as the time goes by. But the mood and quality of the movement is continuously kept up. Therefore, the study of movement characteristic analysis in Korea traditional dance need to not only in respect of setting an academic theory but also in respect of understanding the principle of movements and expressing on the basis of theory as well.
