초등학교 아동의 성격유형별 움직임의 에포트 특성연구 = A Study on the Effort Characteristic of Movement by Psychological Types For the Elementary School Students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to analyze elementary students` attributes of effort depending on their personality types. For this purpose, the researcher set up two hypotheses; first, what differences of personality exist between extrovert and introvert children classified according to MMTIC?; second, what differences exist between the two groups in terms of attributes of their efforts for the fine arts classrooms? For this study, the researcher used two test tools: MMTIC (Meisgeier Type Indicator for Children; Murphy) and Laban`s analysis framework of efforts. First of all, the elementary students sampled for this study were classified into extrovert and introvert groups according to MMTIC, and then, their efforts of movement were analyzed to determine relations between personality types and attributes of effort. For this study, the researcher sampled 4 elementary 6th graders. Summing up, children`s ordinary effort movements were similar to each other in the indoor classrooms regardless of their personality types, but in the outdoor classrooms, their effort characteristics were different depending on their personality types. Such differences may well have been proven by the finding that Student `A` showed quite different effort characteristics from Student `C` and Student `D` during the outdoor classroom hours. All these findings may suggest that children`s personality types (extrovert (E)-introvert (I)) are related with their efforts of movement. Thus, the results of this study will provide for some basic data useful to development of the educational programs whereby children`s effort attributes of movement could be correctly understood to identify the effective effort attributes depending on their personality types and effort characteristics. Such data will also be useful to future studies which will attempt to provide for some ground for more effective elementary education reflecting children`s personality types and their attitudes and behaviors thereof. Lastly, it is hoped that this study will be followed up by future studies which will develop more systematic models for children`s effort training in consideration of their personality types and thereby, suggest more desirable directions for teachers` effective guidance of children.
