농촌지역 노인의 주관적인 성공적 노화와 관련된 인구통계학적 변인 및 생활습관과 사회심리적 변인에 대한 연구 = A Research on Demographic Parameters, Life Style and Sociopsychological Factors Related to Subjective Successful Aging of the Elderly in Rural Areas

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research examined the relationship between demographic parameters, life style and successful aging and the influence of social support and sociopyschological stress on successful aging in elderly people. 316 elderly people were sampled in rural area. With the aid of survey assistants, participants completed Psychosocial Wellbeing Index-Short Form(PWI-SF), Medical Outcome Study-Social Support survey(MOS-SSS) and Successful aging scale. Demographic , life style data were also collected. The collected data were analysed using multiple regression and AMOS statistical procedures. Age, drinking and social group predicted successful ageing significantly in elderly man, but work and exercise predicted successful ageing significantly in elderly women. Elderly men showed significantly lower sociopsychological stress, higher social support and successful aging than elderly women. Sociopsychological stress was negatively correlated with social support and successful aging, but social support was positively associated with successful aging. Social support had the partial mediation role between sociopsychological stress and successful aging. Finally, the implication and this study and the direction of future research were discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 농촌 지역 노인들을 대상으로 성공적 노화와 관련된 인구통계학적 변인 및 생활습관을 알아보고, 사회적 지지와 사회심리적 스트레스가 성공적 노화에 미치는 효과를 검증하였다. 316명의 농촌 지역 거주 노인들이 연구보조원의 도움을 받으면서 인구통계학적 변인과 생활습관, 사회심리적 스트레스, 사회적지지 및 성공적 노화에 관한 설문에 응답을 하였다. 수집된 자료는 다중회귀분석과 AMOS를 이용하여 분석되었다. 그 결과 남성에서는 연령, 음주 및 사회모임 그리고 여성에서는 일과 운동이 성공적 노화를 유의하게 예측하였다. 남성이 여성보다 낮은 사회심리적 스트레스, 높은 사회적 지지와 성공적 노화를 나타내었다. 사회심리적 스트레스는 사회적 지지 및 성공적 노화와 유의한 부적 상관을 보인 반면에 사회적 지지는 성공적 노화와 유의한 정적 상관을 가졌다. 사회적 지지가 사회심리적 스트레스와 성공적 노화의 관계를 매개하는 부분매개모형이 지지되었다. 인구통계학적 변인 및 생활습관, 사회심리적 스트레스 및 사회적 지지가 성공적 노화에 미치는 효과가 갖는 함의가 논의되었다.
