가족 사회자본이 집단가치와 삶의 만족에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of Family Social Capital on Collective Values and Life Satisfaction

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 기본적으로 각종 사고의 틀이 배태되는 원천으로 인식되는 가족관계가 개인의 삶과 사회적 가치형성에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 논의의 초점은 성장기와 현재의 가족관계를 기본으로 하는 가족 사회자본이 집단가치와 삶의 만족에 어떤 영향을 미치는가이다. 이를 통해 기존 사회자본 연구에서 관계의 폐쇄성으로 사회적 파급력이 미약할 것으로 인식되어 별반 주목받지 못했던 가족 사회자본이 갖는 사회적 관계에서의 의미와 그 중요성을 실증적으로 밝혀 보고자 하는 것이다. 연구 결과, 가족 사회자본이 집단가치에 영향을 미쳤다. 대부분의 가족 사회자본 변수가 공동체의식과 준법의식, 정치적 역할의식에 영향을 미친 반면, 부모의 지위가 공동체의식과 평등의식, 준법의식에 부(-)의 영향을 미치고 있었다. 탈물질의식은 다른 집단가치와 달리 가족 사회자본의 영향력이 제한적으로 나타났다. 또한 가족 사회자본은 삶의 만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 이를 통해 가족 사회자본이 공동생활에 필요한 집단가치와 개인의 삶의 만족에 중요한 영향요인임을 확인하였다. 동시에 가족 사회자본은 이익사회의 기초가 되기에는 한계가 있음을 발견하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study verifies the effects of family relationship on collective values and life satisfaction. Since it is perceived that the frame of personal values are originated from family relationship, the family social capital based on family relationship affects collective values and life satisfaction. Through this hypothesis, this study tries to examines the importance and policy implications on family social capital. From this research, family social capital has an impact on collective values. Almost all the social capital variables have a positive effect on group value, law-abiding value, and political role value. Meanwhile, parent status has a negative effect on group value, egalitarian value, and law-abiding value, and social capital variables have a limited impact on post-material values. And, family social capital has a positive impact on life satisfaction. This findings mean that family social capital makes an important role for building collective values and life satisfaction.
