청소년 스트레스와 신체화 증상의 관계: 사회적 지지의 조절효과

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 청소년 스트레스 영역과 그것이 신체화 증상에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 지지원에 따른 차이 및 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 밝혀보고자 하였다. 본 연구를 위해 서울과 경기도에 위치한 고등학교 1, 2학년 학생 총425명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 청소년의 스트레스, 사회적 지지, 신체화 증상 변수들 간의 상관관계를 살펴본 결과, 스트레스와 신체화 증상은 유의미한 정적 상관을 보였다. 가족, 생활환경, 자기 자신에 대한 스트레스 수준이 높으면 사회적 지지가 낮았으며, 사회적 지지와 신체화 증상 간에도 부적 상관을 보였다. 마지막으로 스트레스가 신체화 증상에 미치는 영향에서 사회적 지지의 조절 효과를 검증한 결과, 스트레스의 가족 영역 및 생활환경 영역과 어머니 지지와 아버지 지지의 상호작용이 유의미하게 나타났다. 또한 자기자신영역과 아버지 지지에서 유의미한 상호작용 결과가 나타났다. 즉 스트레스 수준이 높더라도 사회적 지지원 중 어머니, 아버지 지지가 높은 경우 신체화 증상을 완화하여 증상의 증가량을 조절하는 것으로 볼 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examined the effects of adolescent stress on somatic symptoms. In order to scrutinize the moderating effects of social support, this study also examined the effects by different sources of social support on somatization. The subjects of this study were 425 students in total, consisting of first and second year high school students in Seoul and Gyeonggido, and they were asked to fill out a self-administrated questionnaire. A correlation analysis of stress, social support and somatic symptoms of adolescent showed a significantly positive correlation between stress and somatic symptoms. Also we found that high levels of stress on family, life environment and self are related to lower social support. And social support showed a negative correlation with somatic symtoms. Finally the investigation of social supports" moderating effect on stress and somatization proved that there were significant moderating effects of mother’s and father’s support in the areas of family and everyday life related stress. In addition to that, father’s support had a alleviating effects on self area stress. In conclusion, the results showed that parental support had alleviating effects, even though the stress level was high.
