자기효능감에 미치는 동네효과에 관한 탐색적 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 지역사회 구성원의 역량강화를 위해 매우 중요한 요인으로 간주되고 있는 것이 자기효능감이다. 본 연구의 목적은 동네의 사회경제적 환경이 개인수준의 사회경제적 지위와는 독립적으로 개인의 자기효능감에 영향을 미치는 동네효과를 파악하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 제도적 자원모형과 전염모형을 통해 빈공동네효과를 이론적으로 살펴보고, 이를 보완할 수 있는 논리로서 동네무질서에 주목하여 자기효능감과의 인과관계를 살펴보고자 하였다. 실증분석은 대전광역시 16개 동네 816명의 설문응답결과에 위계적 선형모형을 적용하여 이루어졌다. 분석결과 개인수준의 인구 및 사회경제적 변수를 통제한 이후에도 빈곤동네는 자기효능감이 낮게 나타나 동네효과가 존재함을 보여주었다. 또한 동네무질서는 동네효과 및 개인수준의 자기효능감에 중요한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론으로 분석결과의 정책적 시사점 및 앞으로의 연구방향을 제시하였다.
