인성교육 프로그램의 효과성 제고 방향 = Improvement of the Effectiveness of Character Education Program

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 인성교육 프로그램의 평가 강화를 통해 인성교육 활성화 방안을 제안하는 것이다. 인성교육법 제정 이후 단위학교 중심의 인성교육이 요구되고 있기 때문에 학교의 특수한 여건을 고려한 프로그램의 개발이 시급한 실정이다. 정부는 학교 인성교육의 낮은 효과성을 개선하기 위해서 인성교육정책 방향을 제안하고 있다: ①학교 교육활동 전반을 인성 친화적으로 변화 ②학생의 인성을 깨우치는 교육활성화 ③가정-학교-사회의 연계지원 그리고 이러한 정책들을 잘 실행하고 있는 인성교육 우수학교를 선정하고, 인성교육의 실행 계획 및 성과보고를 의무화하여 인성교육의 실행 모델 사례에 관한 데이터베이스를 구축하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 인성교육 프로그램 개발 매뉴얼을 소개하고, 우수학교 실제 사례를 비판적으로 분석하여 인성교육의 활성화 방안을 모색하였다. 첫째, 인성교육 효과성의 측정과 평가의 강화 방안으로서 백 워드(Backward) 교육과정을 활용을 제안하였다. 이러한 접근은 인성교육 프로그램의 활동이 덕과 역량의 함양의 목표에 실질적으로 기여하도록 한다. 둘째, 문제행동의 심각함을 고려한 학생 맞춤형 인성교육의 필요성을 밝히고, 긍정적 행동지원 모델에 근거한 단위학교의 위계화된 인성교육 모델을 제안하였다

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to propose the ways to enhance the effectiveness of character education programs through strengthening the assessment of character education programs. As the mandatory school-based character education program has conducted since enacting the law of character education enhancement, Character education program should be developed which is taking into account the special circumstances of the school environment urgent need. In order to improve the low effectiveness of schools character education, government suggest character education policies: ① Changes to conduct the overall school activities for friendly building student``s character ② Strengthening educational activities that contribute to students`` character development ③ the construction of the linkage support system between school and family, community. Government has been building a database of Practices of character education through selecting of model school cases that performed well these policies of character education. Model Schools are obliged to report the implementation plan and performance outcomes of character education program. In this study, we propose how to strengthen the effectiveness of character education by developing a character education program manuals and critically analyzing model school cases of character education. In particular, to substantially contribute to the cultivation of virtue and ability this study suggest character education program based on backward (Backward) courses. In addition, the approach to be based on school-wide positive action support should be applied to conduct the character education that meets the needs and students.
