무용 교육내용 선정을 위한 기초연구 : Focused on the construction of Korean and American dance education content 한국과 미국의 교육내용 구성을 중심으로 = A Study on Dance Educational Contents Selection

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analyze the base for dance education content with relation to consensual process and knowledge structure. The pre-research products and papers informed that Korea dance education has many problems such as educational regulation, educational contents, teacher preparation and facilities.
But the core issues of education are related to identify and present valuable education contents.
In order to progress this study, I reviewed the pedagogic and philosophic principles of the National Standard for Dance Education in America. The National Standards are a statement of "what every American student should know and be able to do". These voluntary standard describes the knowledge, skills, and understand that all students should acquire in the dance, providing a basis for developing curricula.
The standards are categorized by the arts disciplines. In this standards, dance knowledge structure based on Discipline-Based Arts Education. Education is divided into four content areas: ⑴ production, ⑵ criticism, ⑶ history and culture, ⑷ aesthetics.
I classified the elements of education reform in terms of two standpoints, consensual process and knowledge structure. Compared to with Amercian dance education, there was little consensual process and criteria for dance contents standard selection. Because the development of the content and assessment standards can provide credibility and ligitimacy as core subject of dance education, we have also need to consider the standard of dance education bases on consensual process and knowledge structure.
