The purpose of this study was to understand the meaning of self-reflection ina student teacher portfolio. For this purpose, the researchers performed theorientation about a student teacher portfolio to student teachers before studentteaching. And the student teachers made a student teacher portfolio during thefour weeks of student teaching. After student teaching, the researchersconducted self-evaluation and peer-evaluation questionnaire survey, and groupinterview of student teachers.
The results of this study were as follows: first, student teachers hadopportunities to confirm their philosophy and knowledge level, and tried toconnect those with teaching practice in the process of making a student teacherportfolio. Second, student teachers experienced not only repeated reflection butalso shared reflection with peers through the student teacher portfolio. Third, thestudent teachers were convinced that a student teacher portfolio was theresources for future plans and recharging themselves.
