여성결혼이민자 가정 자녀의 이중문화가 학교적응에 미치는 영향 = 전북 농촌 중심

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 국제결혼이 증가하면서 여성결혼이민자가정이 늘어나고 있으며 이에 따라 그 가정 자녀들의 학교적응에 대한 관심도 커지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 여성결혼이민자가정 자녀의 인구사회학적 특성과 그들만이 가지고 있는 이중문화적 특성, 학교적응에 따른 실태를 파악하고, 이중문화적 특성이 학교적응에 미치는 영향력을 분석하였다. 그 결과 여성결혼이민자가정 자녀들의 이중문화는 학교적응에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 이중문화에 대한 긍정적 개입이 이루어져야함을 보여주는 결과라 하겠다. 이에 본 연구는 여성결혼이민자 자녀들의 이중문화를 중심으로 학교적응에 도움이 될 수 있는 사회복지적 함의에 대해 학술적 논의를 시도해 보았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The recent surge in international marriages has led to greater interest in the school adjustment problems faced by the children of bi-cultural families. This study examines the bi-cultural attributes unique to the children of female marriage immigrants and considers the impact of such social demographical and bi-cultural characteristics on their school adjustment. The study shows that the level of the research subjects" awareness of their bi-culturalism and positive acceptance thereof has a strong correlation with better adjustment at school. As the results show that positive intervention is necessary to assist the children, this study attempts to trigger an academic discussion on the potential social welfare interventions available to aid the children of bi-racial families in adjusting to Korean school life.
