국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 제천지역의 한방건강축제에 참여하는 방문객을 대상으로 축제가 개최되는 지역의 방문객과 타지에서 온 방문객을 구별하여, 축제에 참가하게 된 동기 및 만족도에 대한 두 집단의 차이를 규명하기위해 연구되었다. 차이를 발생시키는 요인을 분석하고 이를 반영하여 더욱 많은 참가를 유도하기 위한 차별화된 마케팅전략 및 그에 따른 대책을 제시해 보고자 함에 그 목적을 두었다. 이러한 연구결과는 축제 참여 동기 및 만족요인에 부합되는 프로그램개발을 위한 자료로 활용될 것이며 나아가 제천 한방건강 축제 활성화 전략 방안 모색에 일조를 할 것으로 사료된다.
실증 분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 축제방문 지역주민과 외지방문객의 동기의 분석 결과 지역주민에 비해 외지 방문객이 지역주민에 비해 가족성, 일탈, 한방체험 및 지역전통문화를 더 많이 추구한다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
둘째, 지역주민과 외지방문객의 축제방문 만족도 분석 결과 지역주민에 비해 외지 방문객이 행사안내, 축제내용의 재미 및 다양성, 시설항목에 부분적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 분석 되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The overall purpose of this study was to investigate local and tourist participants’ motivation and satisfaction to ‘Jechon Medical Herb Festival’. Specifically this study investigate whether the motivation and satisfaction were different between local and tourist participants. This study also investigated what factors were attributed to the differences between those two. The results of this study indicated that tourist participants had higher motivation of family togetherness, escape, experiences of medical herb and local cultural activities than local participants. There were also statistically differences in providing information, festival activities’ diversity and attraction, and facilities between local and tourist participants’ satisfaction.
