수치심과 편집성향의 관계 - 자기개념의 매개효과 -|RISS 상세보기

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생의 수치심과 편집성향의 관계에서 자기개념의 매개효과를 가정하고 이를 검증해 보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 서울과 수도권, 지방에 위치한 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 학생 359명이었으며, 수치심 경향성 척도(Personal Felling Questionnaire 2: PFQ-2), 편집척도, 자기개념질문지를 사용하여 설문을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 각 변인의 상관분석 결과, 대학생의 편집성향은 수치심과 유의미한 정적 상관이 있었고, 자기개념과 유의미한 부적 상관이 있었다. 둘째, 대학생의 수치심 고, 저 집단간의 편집성향의 차이를 살펴본 결과 수치심성향이 높은 집단이 편집성향도 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대학생의 수치심과 편집성향의 관계에서 자기개념의 매개효과를 알아본 결과 자기개념은 수치심과 편집성향의 관계를 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 수치심은 편집성향에 직접적인 영향을 주기도 하지만, 자기개념을 매개로 하여서 간접적으로도 영향을 주고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 한계 그리고 후속연구를 위한 제언에 대하여 논의하였다.

This study has been carried out to verify the mediated effect of self-concept on the connection between shame and paranoid tendency of University students. In doing so, 359 university students of local, capital area and Seoul have been participated. To data collected from questionnaire have been analyzed by using Personal Felling Questionnaire 2: PFQ-2, The Paranoia Scale, The Self-Concept Scale. The results of this research are as follows. Firstly, paranoid tendency had a positive correlation with shame, while the self-concept showed a negative correlation with other variance. Secondly, the analyze on the paranoid tendency of high and low level groups has shown that the level of such characteristic has been higher in the groups of which level of shame is higher. Thirdly, the analysis on mediated effect of self-concept on the relationship between shame and paranoid tendency of University students has shown that such self-concept partly affects and connection between sahme and paranoid tendency. Therefore, shame directly affects paranoid tendency as well as indirectly affects such characteristics through self-concept as a mediation. Finally, the limitation of this study and suggestions for further research have been discussed.
