지역사회환경이 청소년의 일탈에 미치는 영향 = 일탈친구의 매개효과를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 지역사회 구조적 환경 요인과 청소년에 의해 인지된 환경요인이 청소년일탈과 어떤 연관관계(association)를 갖는지 밝히고자 하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 청소년패널데이터(중2) 5차년도 자료의 응답자 2,967명 중 최종모형에 포함된 2,313명이다. 본 연구의 가설 검증을 위해 이변량 상관관계 분석 및 위계적 다중회귀분석을 실행 하였다. 분석 결과, 지역의 구조적 환경요인과 지역사회환경요인 중 유해환경 변수가 청소년일탈 및 지위비행을 유의미한 수준에서 예측하였다. 일탈친구 매개효과는 본 연구의 결과를 통해 검증되지 않았다. 연구결과 본 논문은 사회해체이론 및 집합적효능 모형등과 같은 국외 이론들이 주장해온 바에 대한 한국적 차원에서의 적용 가능성을 확인 했다는데 의의가 있다. 또한 청소년 일탈에 대해 주로 미시적 접근을 해오던 국내 선행연구들이 거시적 측면의 접근 또한 고려해야 함을 시사한다. 끝으로 본 연구결과에 대한 논의사항과 한계점을 제시하고 후속 연구에 대해 제안 하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to investigate the association between structural environment and conceptual environment and juvenile delinquency. The subjects of this study include 2,313 3rd year senior high school students. The dependent variable of this study is juvenile delinquency while the independent variables are neighborhood environment, and the mediation effects of delinquent friends. The implications derived from the results are as follows: First, this study applied non domestic theories, which focused on the relationship between neighborhood and juvenile delinquency, to a domestic Korean context. Therefore this study provides basic information for future researchers who are interested in this area of study. Secondly, the results of this study suggest that it may be important to approach juvenile delinquency not only on a micro level, which considers individual or family effects, but also on a macro level, with consideration given to neighborhood effects.
