The present study examined the effects of career-decision-making type, self-efficacy in career- decision-making, self-esteem, and depression/anxiety on school maladjustments among specialized high school students. Participants were 621 male and female students of specialized high school in Chung-cheong provence. Major results revealed in this study were as follows. First, unresonable career-decision-making type, dependent career-decision-making type, low self-efficacy in career- decision-making, low self-esteem, high depression/anxiety level were significantly related with school maladjustments of students. Second, hierachical regression analyses showed that high depression/anxiety level, low academic grade, unresonable career-decision-making type, high level of family income increased the possibilities of school maladjustments for male students. In contrast, high depression/anxiety level, low academic grade, high level of family income increased the possibilities of school maladjustments for female students. Last, meanings and implications of the results, and significances and limitations of the present study were discussed.
