자기성찰지능이 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향: 삶의 의미를 매개로 = The Influence of Intrapersonal Intelligence on Posttraumatic Growth : Mediating Effect of Meaning in Life

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study understood the relations between intrapersonal intelligence and meaning in life as coping strategies and personal characteristics that could lead psychological growth after traumatic experiences. In the study results, intrapersonal intelligence, meaning in life and post-traumatic growth showed significant positive correlations to each others. In the result of verifying the mediated effect of meaning in life in the relations between intrapersonal intelligence and post-traumatic growth, its full mediated effect was verified. This means that the meaning in life is perceived more highly when intrapersonal intelligence is high, and the person who perceives the meaning in life more highly is reported to have more post-traumatic growth. Such study results have significance in showing positive changes and growth possibility after post-traumatic experiences in comparison with the existing trauma relevant studies mostly focusing on negative results. Especially, by looking into coping strategies and personal characteristics that can lead post-traumatic growth, it has significance to provide basic data for proper therapeutic intervention that helps to decrease the pain and increase the growth after trauma.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 외상 경험 이후에 심리적 성장을 이끄는 개인적 특성과 대처전략으로 자기성찰지능과 삶의 의미를 선정하여 이들의 관계에 대해서 알아보았다. 이를 위해 대학생 310명(남자130명, 여자180명)을 대상으로 외상 후 성장 척도, 외상 경험 질문지, 삶의 의미 척도, 한국판 다중지능 검사를 사용하여 설문을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 자기성찰지능, 삶의 의미, 외상 후 성장은 서로 간에 유의한 정적상관을 보였다. 또한 자기성찰지능과 외상 후 성장 간의 관계에서 삶의 의미의 매개효과를 검증한 결과 완전매개 효과가 검증되었다. 이 같은 결과는 청소년들이 역경 속에서 성장해 가는 과정에서 자기성찰지능과 삶의 의미의 역할을 보여주는 것이며, 청소년들을 비롯한 외상을 경험한 내담자를 위한 심리적 개입의 가능성을 시사하는 것이다.
