후기청소년의 진로발달 궤적에 관한 종단연구 = 경제적 불안정과 여가의 영향을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 후기청소년 시기를 경험하고 있는 고등학생의 진로발달 궤적과 이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 종단적으로 살피는 것에 연구목적을 두고 있다. 청소년의 진로발달과 관련한 기존 연구들이 다양한 이론적, 실증적 기여를 축적하고 있으나, 횡단적인 연구에 그치거나 영향 요인을 포괄적으로 고려하는 연구 모델 구축의 한계를 보인 경우가 많았다. 이를 바탕으로 본 연구는 청소년의 발달에 중요한 요인임에도 불구하고 기존 연구에서 많이 다뤄지지 않은 경제적 불안정 경험과 청소년의 여가활동을 주요 요인으로 삼고 비교적 포괄적인 분석 모델을 구성하고자 노력하였다. 본 연구는 〈청년패널조사(YP2007)〉 데이터를 바탕으로 청소년의 진로발달 수준을 기술적으로 살펴보고 발달 궤적에 대한 잠재성장모형 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 빈곤 지위의 변동을 중심으로 본 경제적 불안정 경험은 청소년의 진로발달을 크게 후퇴시키는 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 여가활동의 질적 측면으로서 다양한 사회문화 활동을 경험한 청소년일수록 진로발달의 수준이 높다는 점이 드러났다. 이외에도, 성별, 성적, 또래관계, 진로지도 경험, 모의 관심 등 개인, 학교, 가정을 아우르는 다양한 요인들이 청소년의 진로발달에 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 말미에는 이와 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 청소년의 진로발달을 도울 수 있는 정책적 개입을 위한 몇 가지 함의를 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The main purpose of the current study was to investigate the developmental trajectory of the career maturity of South Korean adolescents and the factors which play a part in creating the trajectory. Many studies related to this issue have been conducted and have contributed to both the practical and theoretical understanding of this issue. Considering some limitations involved in building the research model and the methodology of previous research conducted into this issue, this study has attempted to set about creating a more comprehensive research model based on a longitudinal approach. Especially this study is focused on the effects of economic instability and leisure upon adolescents’ career maturation. The growth curve model analysis was conducted for the purposes of this research. A number of measures which can assist in the implementation for related education policies are also suggested in this study.
