청소년의 정치적 태도에 대한 실증적 분석 -정치효능감과 정치신뢰감을 중심으로- = The Analysis of Political Attitudes among Korean Youths -focused on political efficacy and political trust-

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analyse political attitudes among korean youths - especially middle and high school students. This study intends to examine the political orientation of the basis of Paige’s the political efficacy-political trust model. The results are as follows. First, the political attitudes of Korean youths show the political orientations of “alienation”, which may be due to a lack of political efficacy and a lack of political trust. Second, they have much political experience through often contact political agencies such as mass media, family, peer group and school. Third, the multiple regression-analysis finds the school influences all of types of political attitudes, consisting of internal efficacy, external efficacy, incumbent-based trust and regime-based trust. This shows school system as a political agency has significant power that can affect the political attitude of youths.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 청소년들의 정치적 태도, 그 중에서도 정치효능감과 정치신뢰감을 실증적으로 분석하는 것이다. Paige의 정치효능감과 정치신뢰감의 결합모형을 통해 청소년의 정치적 정향을 분석해보았다. 분석 결과 첫째, 청소년들의 정치효능감과 정치신뢰감이 모두 낮은 “소외”의 정치정향을 보이고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 내적효능감은 비교적 높으나 외적효능감과 체제기반신뢰감, 인물기반신뢰감이 모두 낮은 특징을 보여주고 있다. 둘째, 매스미디어, 가족, 동료집단, 학교 등 청소년들의 정치사회화 기관의 접촉이 비교적 빈번하여 정치사회화 경험을 활발하게 하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 회귀분석 실시 결과, 내적효능감 및 외적효능감의 정치효능감과 체제기반신뢰감과 인물기반신뢰감의 정치신뢰감의 모든 영역에 있어서 학교교육의 영향력이 통계적으로 검증됨으로써 정치사회화 기관으로서 학교교육이 정치적 태도에 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.
