청소년의 학업성취 변화에 영향을 주는 요인 = 잠재성장모형을 적용하여

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 시간의 변화에 따라 청소년의 학업성취의 변화패턴을 발견하고, 청소년 개인간의 학업성취의 차이에 영향을 미치는 예측요인을 밝혀내고자 하였다. 이를 위해 청소년 패널 데이터(1차년도에서 3차년도까지 중학교 2학년)를 사용하여 잠재성장모형을 통해, 청소년의 학업성취의 변화함수를 모델링하고, 청소년 학업성취에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하였다. 분석결과 청소년의 학업성취는 선형으로 변화하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 학업성취의 초기값에는 자아존중감, 부모-자녀관계, 교사애착이 모두 유의미하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 변화율을 나타내는 기울기에는 자아존중감만이 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 청소년 대상의 서비스를 제공할 경우 중학생의 경우는 개인, 가족, 학교 관련의 다각적인 접근이 유용하겠으나 고등학교 진학 이후의 청소년을 위한 서비스의 경우는 청소년 당사자에 대한 개입이 보다 유용하다는 실천적 함의를 도출할 수 있었으며, 동시에 청소년 학업성취를 위해서는 보다 조기에 개입하는 것이 중요하다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate growth model and predict factors such as adolescent's self-esteem, parenting behavior, attachment with parent and attachment with teacher of academic achievement in adolescent. The 2003-2005 Korea Youth Panel Survey data were used for analysis and the total number of subjects were 3,449 adolescents. Data were analyzed using growth curve model with AMOS 5.0. The major findings are summarized as follows. First, the change of academic achievement of adolescents shows linear decline model. Second, this study confirms the effect of adolescent's self-esteem, parent-adolescent relationship and teacher-adolescent attachemtn on academic achievement. Finally, compare with intercept and slope on academic achievement, there are different predictors. On the bases of these results, this study provided some suggestions for timing and subjects of program for academic achievement in adolescents.
