정신적 웰빙 척도(MHC-SF)의 한국어판 타당화 연구 = Psychometric Evaluation of the Mental Health Continuum-Short Form (MHC-SF) in South Koreans

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 서구에서 개발된 정신적 웰빙 척도(Mental Health Continuum Short Form: MHC-SF; Keyes et al., 2008) 14문항을 번역ㆍ역번역 절차를 통해 한국판을 구성하고, 일반인 1000명(남 495, 여 505)에게 실시하여 한국판 정신적 웰빙 척도(K-MHC-SF)의 요인구조, 신뢰도와 수렴 및 변별타당도를 경험적으로 검증하고자 하였다. K-MHC-SF의 요인구조를 알아보기 위하여, 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 선행 연구와 일치되게, 정서적 웰빙, 사회적 웰빙, 그리고 심리적 웰빙으로 구성된 상관 3요인 모형이 지지되었다. K-MHC-SF의 내적 합치도는 .93으로 양호하였고, 검사ㆍ재검사 신뢰도는 .72로서 기준에 부합하였다. K-MHC-SF 척도와 여러 타당도 지표간의 상관분석을 실시한 결과, 척도의 수렴ㆍ변별 타당도가 확립되었다. 정신적 웰빙의 진단 기준을 적용하여 참가자들을 분류한 결과, 8.1%가 번영 단계, 19.1%가 쇠약 단계, 그리고 나머지 대다수의 참여자들은 양호 단계에 해당하였다. 이에 더해, 정신적 웰빙과 정신장애의 관계를 규명하기 위하여 확인적 요인분석을 수행한 결과, 상관 2요인 모형이 가장 적합한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 결론적으로, 이 결과들은 K-MHC-SF가 정신적 웰빙의 세 차원들을 매우 신뢰롭고 타당하게 측정하는 도구임을 시사한다. 끝으로, 연구의 의의와 제한점 및 추후 연구 과제에 대해 논의하였다.
