한국의 기업 참여형 진로탐색 지원 활동 활성화 방안

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문의 목적은 진로교육이 갖는 교수-학습방법 중 진로탐색이 갖는 중요성을 살펴보고 학교 진로교육에서 기업이 참여하는 학생 진로탐색 활동의 현황과 문제점, 그리고 이를 활성화하는 정책 대안을 제안하는 것이다. 이 논문은 기업이 갖는 인적?물적자원을 활용하여 학교 진로교육에서 부족한 지원 인프라를 보완하는 기업참여형의 진로탐색 역할을 강조하고 있다. 이러한 목적을 위하여 선행연구를 수집?분석하여 학생 진로체험의 중요성을 확인하였으며, 영국, 호주, 일본 등 기업이 학생 진로탐색 활동을 지원한 해외사례와 시사점을 검토하고 한국의 진로탐색 지원 인프라 현황 및 문제점을 학교와 기업관점에서 종합적으로 점검하고 향후 활성화 방안을 제안하였다. 제안된 정책방안은 기업재단 · 사내비영리기관 · 사회적기업 등을 적극 활용한 공급 확대, 기업 참여의 연속성 · 질적 수준 제고, 「공감」을 전하는 활동, 기업 내 · 간 협업지원 체제 마련, 국가차원의 질 관리 체제 구축, 기업의 교육기부 문화 확산을 위한 홍보전략 강화 등이다. 이 논문에서 제안하는 정책 방안들은 향후, 2016년 자유학기제의 전면적 시행에 앞서 우리나라가 정비해야 하는 진로교육 인프라 및 정책 방향에서 의미있는 시사점을 갖는다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this paper is to explore ways to encourage of employer participation in career exploration for students’ career development. For the purpose, preceding research is reviewed how career exploration activities are important on career development, and historical policy on school career exploration is reviewed. Career Education Index published every year at the KRIVET and the data of education donation activities of business are re-analyzed to find out the current status of career exploration activities both in schools and companies. In addition, the successful cases of employers’ participation in career exploration activity from overseas such as the UK, Australia, and Japan were reviewed to find out the recommendation to Korea. This paper strongly points out that the role of employers’ support in career exploration activities is the important factor to help student’s career development because school should utilize employers’ human and physical resources to make up the insufficient infra of career education at school. Consequently, six policy recommendations to revitalize employers’ participation are suggested. Six suggestions are to actively engage with employers, non-profit institutions and social enterprises, enhance the continuity and quality of career exploration activities which engage employers, operate relevant activities rather than those for ‘showing’, set up cooperation system within/among employers, establish a national system to ensure the quality, and strengthen public relations strategies to spread education donation. These recommendations should contribute to reorganize the infrastructure of career education and the direction of career education policy in Korea before the full-fledge implementation of Free Learning Semester(FLS) in 2016.
