This study aimed to investigate the moderating effects of professional identity on the relationship between job stress and burnout of care workers. Respondents were 360 care workers from long term care facilities and home care facilities in Ulsan, Pohang and Gyeongju city. To investigate the moderating effects, Multiple Linar Regression(MLR) model was used in this study. The results showed that professional identity moderated the relation between job stress and burnout of care workers from home care facilities. These results indicated that professional identity could be a preventive factor for burnout of care workers from home care facilities.
