The Effects of Integrated Activities Using Children's Economic Picture Books on Monetary Concept of Young ChildrenYoun, Hee-KyungKim, Haye-YoungThe purpose of this study was to examine the effects of integrated approach using children's economic picture books on monetary concept. To analyse the collected data, 26 young children were divided into two groups (experimental or comparison group) and were analysed their activities by pre and post test, and experimental research design. The results were that the application of integrated activities using economic books had effect on the young children's monetary concept. Also there was a statistically significant in scarcity of money, opportunity cost, value of money, and exchange value of money except value of money.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 경제동화를 활용한 통합적 접근이 유아의 화폐개념에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 교육비교집단의 각 학급 유아 26명을 대상으로 사전사후검사 실험설계방법에 의해 총 19회의 활동을 관찰분석하였다. 연구결과 경제동화를 활용한 통합활동의 경험이 유아의 화폐개념에 긍정적 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 화폐개념 중 화폐의 희소성 개념, 기회비용 개념, 가격과 교환 개념에 유의한 효과가 있었으며, 가치 개념에는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다.
