북한 아동교육정책과 아동영화 창작 원칙 연구 = A Study on Child Education Policy and Principle of Creativity for Children’s Film in North Korea

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this research is to identify the child education policy and the principle of creativity of children’s film in North Korea. Children’s film in North Korea is a terminology to designate a film targeting children, and denotes ‘the film produced targeting children for the purpose of children’s culture.’ This is because the film should be faithful to the cultural purpose to fit into psychological characteristics of children, and the level of children’s mental development.
Children’s film aims at passing on precepts for life and basic knowledge required for children as a means of development of ‘Juche-type Communist Human.’ Since children’s film is created to suit children’s culture business, the principles to observe in the process of creation thereof is obvious. The principles to observe in creation of films for children are as follows:First, it is to create diverse themes required for ‘consolidation of knowledge learned from school,’ and to achieve the functional goal to ‘train students as communist human combing knowledge, virtue, and healthy body.’Second, it is required to create children’s film making use of illusion, personification, and method of exaggeration so as to fit into children’s psychological characteristics by age.
Third, it is required to adhere to the principle of realism without any beautification in creating children’s film, while it should be agreeable with the characteristics of children.
Fourth, children’s film is to be constituted in a terse style in light of the distinctive features of materials such as pictures, doll, and topography, etc. having considered the simplicity of children’s thought.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 북한의 아동교육정책과 아동영화 창작 원리를 밝히는 데 있다. 북한에서 아동영화는 아동을 대상으로 한 영화를 지칭하는 용어로 ‘어린이들을 대상으로 하고 그들의 교양을 목적으로 만들어진 영화’를 의미한다. 아동의 정신적 발달 수준과 심리적 특성에 맞추어 교양 목적에 충실해야 하기 때문이다.
아동영화는 ‘주체형의 공산주의 인간’ 양성의 수단으로 아동에게 필요한 생활교훈과 기초 지식 전달을 목적으로 한다.
아동영화는 아동교양 사업에 맞추어 창작되기에 창작에서 지켜야 할 원칙도 분명하다. 아동영화 창작에서 지켜야 할 창작 원칙은 다음과 같다.
첫째, '학교에서 배운 지식의 공고화'에 필요한 다양한 주제의 창조와 '학생들을 지덕체를 겸비한 공산주의 인간'으로 양성하겠다는 기능적 목표의 실행이다.
둘째, 아동의 연령 심리적 특성에 맞게 환상, 의인화, 과장의 수법을 사용하여 아동영화를 창작하여야 한다.
셋째, 아동영화를 창작함에 있어 '아동의 특성'에 맞게 창작하되, 미화 없이 사실주의 원칙을 견지해야 한다.
넷째, 아동영화는 그림, 인형, 지형 등 소재의 특성상, 그리고 아동들의 사고의 단순성을 고려하여 간결하게 구성해야 한다.
