중증장애인의 차별경험이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향 : 장애수용의 매개효과 및 대인적 지지의 조절효과를 중심으로 = The Influence of Discrimination on Life Satisfaction - Focused on the mediating effect of Disability Acceptance and moderating effect of Interpersonal Support

The objective of this study was to verify the mediating effect of disability acceptance and the moderating effect of interpersonal support on the relationship between discrimination and life satisfaction against severely handicapped person. For the study, 1,927 data among 4,397 data, which derived from the forth wave panel data provided at Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled were utilized. To analyze the data, SPSS 19.0 was used.
The results of the study are: Firstly disability acceptance was mediated between disability discrimination and life satisfaction. Secondly, interpersonal support wasn’t moderated between disability discrimination and life satisfaction. Based on the result, I suggested some political and practical implications for improving the quality of life of the severely disabled. For this, I suggested that disabled person need to recognize and accept one’s disabilities and construct on a integrated IT network for severely disabled person in order to acquire some information in a local agency, community welfare center, city hall and so on.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 중증장애인의 차별경험이 삶의 만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 장애수용의 매개효과와 대인적 지지의 조절효과를 중심으로 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 한국장애인고용공단에서 조사한 장애인고용패널 4차년도 자료를 활용하여, 등록 장애인 4,397명 중에서 증증장애인 1,927명을 대상으로 SPSS 19.0을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 차별경험과 삶의 만족도 간 장애수용의 매개효과 검증에서는 차별경험과 장애수용 모두 1, 2단계에서 통계적으로 유의미하게 나타났으며, 장애수용은 차별경험과 삶의 만족도 간에 매개효과가 있는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 조절효과 검증을 위해 사용된 대인적 지지는 차별경험과 삶의 만족도 간을 조절하지 않는 변수임을 확인하였다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 토대로, 장애차별이 높을수록 삶의 만족도가 낮게 나타나는 상황에서 장애인들 스스로가 장애를 인식하고 극복하기 위한 장애인 역량강화 프로그램, 장애에 대한 수용, 그리고 중증장애인들이 다양한 정보습득을 할 수 있도록 각 관련 복지관, 지자체, 행정당국의 통합된 전산망 구축, 나아가서는 중증장애인의 삶의 만족도를 향상시킬 수 있는 실천적 개입방안과 정책적 함의를 제시하였다.
