주제전문사서 양성을 위한 문헌정보학 교과과정 연구 = A Study on the Curriculums of Library and Information Science for Subject Specialist

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study suggests ameliorated Library and Information Science education, and its curriculum for education of national subject specialists. For that purpose, this study investigates and compares four internal universities, three American universities along with the figures of the present and future subjects to face updated educational plans and prepare to become a new information specialist at ALA(American Library Association), ALISE(Association for Library and Information Science Education), and other agents. The results of this study can be used as the basic data for training “subject specialist" in the university curriculum.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 국내 주제전문사서 양성을 위한 개선된 문헌정보학 교육 및 교과과정 개선방안을 제안하였다. 이를 위해 국내 4개 대학교와 미국의 3개 대학교의 교과과정 및 미국도서관협회(ALA: American Library Association), 도서관교육협회(ALISE: Association for Library and Information Science Education)와 기타 기관에서 정보전문가(information specialist)의 양성 과정을 비교분석하였다. 그 결과를 국내 대학의 문헌정보학과 교육과정에 개설된 교과목과 수와 학점 수를 고려하여 미래지향적인 주제전문사서 양성프로그램개발을 위한 자료로 활용하였다. 본 연구 결과는 대학교 교육과정에서 ‘주제전문사서’ 양성을 위한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
