오디션 연기의 미학과 방법론 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

It is a recent trend that audition TV programs are everywhere in Korea. Firstly, the TV programs such as 〈America’s next top model〉,〈American Idol〉 became famous in the U.S, Korea has started to make the audition type of programs. and soon it became trend. In fact, this trend is not only for korea but global trend now.
In these kind of circumstances, it became fundamental to study origin of audition, as well as what methods have to used for casting actors in the audition.
Now the term “audition” became so popular but there has always been “auditions” for applicants who wants to be the actor or singer. They always practice hard to improve their level of acting and singing, but more importantly they have to cast to the audition anyway to show how good they are to public. Then, actors or applicants of actors should know how to perform better in the audition. therefore, it has been studied the method of how to perform well in the audition.
Audition acting is different from acting in the actual program. Therefore, actors should aware the differences. They better know how to appeal to the casting directors. Their acting must appeal properly to the judge of audition. To do so, they must learn acting for the audition. Also, they should learn how to deal with the prompt acting request. In addition, it is significant to deal with Q&A time. While they answers the questions, they must communicate with the judge and appeal their charm at the same time.
This essay contains researched methods of audition acting as well as esthetics of audition acting. We should notice that audition acting is not for a commercial thing but more like it has artistic value just as work of art. Applicants who constantly participate to the auditions, should know their acting is artistic and has value esthetically. Then, all the auditions they face will be enjoyable obstacles rather than annoying thing. When they started enjoy the auditions, they are more likely be cast. This research has done for help all the applicants who wants to be the actors.
