미국의 지역사회자본(community social capital) 구축정책 사례와 한국에 주는 시사점 = A Case on Building Community Social Capital in U.S.A. and Its Implications for Korea

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 미국의 지역사회자본 구축정책 사례를 통해 우리나라 지역사회자본 구축을 위한 정책적 시사점을 찾는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이론적 논의를 통해 지역사회자본의 개념논의와 정책에 대한 사례소개, 사례에 대한 비교분석을 함으로써 한국에 주는 시사점을 도출하고자 한다. 미국의 지역사회자본 구축정책으로 대표되는 것은 지역사회경제개발 정책, 포괄적 지역사회 접근정책, 기업강화 및 기업공동체 정책, 지역사회조직화 정책 등 네 가지 정책으로 구분할 수 있었다. 이들 정책은 각기 다루는 지역사회문제가 달랐으며 사회자본 구축범위나 참여관계망의 종류 등에서 서로 다른 특징을 갖는 것을 알 수 있었다. 미국의 지역사회정책 사례에 대한 비교분석을 통한 한국정책에 주는 시사점을 도출하고 있는 본 연구는 지역사회 정책에 관한 이론개발에 기여하는 바가 크다.
