일부 농촌 주민들의 주관적 건강상태와 삶의 만족도 관련요인

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 농촌 주민의 일반적인 특성 및 건강관련 특성을 파악하고 주관적 건강상태와 삶의 만족도의 관련요인을 규명하여 농촌 주민들을 위한 건강관리 전략 방안을 마련하는데 기초자료를 제공하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구대상은 G군의 1개읍, 20세 이상 성인 1,091명이었으며, 자료수집기간은 2009년 6월 28일부터 8월 25일까지이다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 18.0을 이용하여 분석하였으며, 서술통계, χ<SUP>2</SUP>-test, Pearson correlation, t-test, ANOVA, 단계적 다중회귀분석을 이용하였다.
연구결과로는 대상자의 일반적인 특성과 건강 관련 특성에 따른 주관적 건강상태의 비교에서는 성별, 연령, 교육정도, 배우자 유무, 진단받은 질병, 약복용 유무, 주된 건강유지 행위, 음주 여부, 음주 빈도, 운동 여부, 가족화목도와 친구관계에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. 삶의 만족도 비교에서는 연령, 교육정도, 배우자 유무, 주된 건강유지 행위, 흡연 여부, 운동 여부, 가족화목도, 친구관계에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. 대상자의 주관적 건강상태에 영향을 미치는 예측요인으로는 진단받은질병, 운동 여부, 가족화목도, 교육정도, 약복용 여부, 친구관계였으며, 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 예측요인으로는 가정화목도, 주관적 건강상태, 주된 건강유지 행위, 친구관계로 나타났다.
이러한 농촌 주민들의 일반적인 특성과 건강관련 특성을 충분히 반영하여 농촌 주민들의 주관적 건강상태와 삶의 만족도를 증진시킬 수 있는 구체적인 중재 프로그램을 개발하여 적용할 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Objectives: This study was performed to compare rural residents’ perceived health status and life satisfaction according to their general and health related characteristics and to identify factors related to perceived health status and life satisfaction in this population.
Methods: Subjects were 1,091 adults aged 20 years or older living in Geochang Gun, South Korea. A survey was conducted from June 28 to August 25, 2009. We used the health self rating scale by Lawton et al. (1982) and the overall life satisfaction scale by Wrosch et al. (2000). The collected data were analyzed using SPSS WIN 18.0.
Result: Sex, age, education, spouse, medical diagnosis, currently taking medication, main health maintenance behavior, alcohol consumption, frequency of alcohol consumption, exercise, family harmony, and friend relationships were significantly related to perceived health status. Age, education, spouse, main health maintenance behavior, smoking, exercise, family harmony, and friend relationships were significantly related to life satisfaction. Further, 29.3% of the variance in perceived health status could be explained by medical diagnosis, exercise, family harmony, education, currently taking medication, and friend relationships, while 11.1% of the variance in life satisfaction could be explained by family harmony, perceived health status, main health maintenance behavior, and friend relationships.
Conclusion: Health management programs must be designed so as to incorporate the general and health related characteristics of rural residents if they aim to improve the perceived health status and life satisfaction in that population.
