    This study aims at analyzing the growth of community through Maeul-mandeulgi in case of Jangsu village and then looking for policy implications of community recovery. This paper was classified to three steps in order to find a mechanism process about growth of the community. This study suggests, the following policy implications for growth of community methods in the Maeul-mandeulgi: First, the community could be formed through the village of small interest, participation, and a common awareness of issues in the village.
    Second, the community was able to grow and recover through the residents participate programs. Third, it is need the community space in order to form a village community where residents can interact with.
    Fourth, the community was confirmed through the several residents meeting and small groups in the Maeul-mandeulgi. And it was increasingly extended to the villages through a small group of community activity.
