산재장애인의 성공적인 직업복귀 과정과 관련 요인 = Successful Return to Work and Related Factors Among Job Injured Workers in Korea

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 산재장애인의 직업복귀 개념을 발달과정으로서 이해하고 관련 요인들을 분석해봄으로써 직업재활과정의 질적 향상을 모색하는 것이다. 본 연구는 52명의 이해당사자들을 대상으로 직업복귀 단계별로 성과지표들을 조사하였고, 치료를 종결한 산재장애인 336명을 대상으로 각 단계별 지표들과 관련이 있는 인구사회학적, 재해 관련, 심리사회적, 작업장 관련 요인들을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 총 9개의 직업복귀 단계별 성과지표와 관련이 있는 요인들은 성별, 주관적 경제상태와 생활비 책임 여부, 장해등급과 주관적 신체능력 등으로 나타났다. 특히, 자기 효능감, 대처기술, 장애수용과 같은 인지적 특성들이나 우울이 직업복귀 모든 단계에서 관련이 있는 요인들로 나타났고, 직장에서의 지지나 산재 전 직장규모 역시 각 단계별 지표와 관계가 있었다. 이러한 결과는 산재근로자의 직업복귀를 과정으로써 이해하고 직업복귀 단계별로 필요한 지원프로그램을 개발하여 도입할 필요가 있음을 보여준다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

To date, return to work outcome in Workers' Compensation has been evaluated by employment status. However, some researchers have stressed that there need to understand the Return-to-Work(RTW) as a developmental process and to pay attention to demands of stakeholders related to Workers' Compensation. The purpose of this study is to examine outcomes of successful RTW and to identify factors related to outcomes in each RTW phase, futhermore to suggest implications for improving the quality of RTW. The sample consists of 52 stakeholders and 336 injured workers with disability benefits from Workers' Compensation. The results showed that socio-demographic such as gender, economic condition, breadwinner, injury related factors like disability grade and work limitation, psychological factors such as self-efficacy, coping skill, disability acceptance, depression, and social support from family, friend, supports in the workplace and company size were associated with outcomes in each RTW phase. These results suggested that policy makers and practitioners working with job injured workers need to understand the conception of RTW as a process and develop efficient intervention programs based on empirical evidences.
