외국인 창조계층의 커뮤니티 형성과정과 정주만족도 분석 -대전을 사례로 하여- = Analysis of Community Developmental Process and Satisfaction of the Living Environment of the Foreign Creative Class in Daejeon

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The foreign creative class are becoming important factors since they have been recognized as the creation of the creativeness in regional economic growth. The aims of this study are to examine the community development of the foreign creative class and to analyze the overall satisfaction of life in Daejeon city and the factor affecting the extension of staying in Daejeon city. The findings of this study are as follows: first, communities of the foreign creative class were formed foreigners` support centers and informal different rendezvous gathering places. Foreign creative class commune with others who share similar interests, expanding a network with mutual interests. Secondly, there was a distinct gap between different occupations in terms of the level of satisfaction and factors affecting overall life satisfaction. Lastly, based on the result of the logistic regression analysis, the satisfaction level of profession/education, leisure time, social life and the period of stay in Daejeon increase the probability of extending the period of stay increase as well. The results of this study may give some implication for policy strategy to regional economic growth through attracting foreign creative class or extending the period of stay in Korea.
