고려말의 파찰음과 파찰음화―경원 출신 자료 제공인의 발화 분석 결과― = Affricates and Affrication in the Korea Dialect

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper analyses phonetic value of affricates in the Korea dialect whose speakers were forced to leave the Maritime Province of Siberia to Central Asia from 1937, and describes the aspects of affrication of *t>ʧ, *tʰ>ʧʰ in the dialect. Phonetic value of the affricates were estimated through acoustic analyses with Praat, and measuring the major noise region of the fricative and spectral center of gravity. As a result, it turned out that the speaker of the Korea dialect whose grandfather had been from Kyongwon had lamino-prepalatal affricates as modern Korean. Affrication in the Korea dialect is not active on the whole, but it is more active in Sino-Korean words, lexical morphemes, and the other class of grammatical morphemes than in Korean word proper, grammatical morphemes, and endings, respectively. These tell us that the Korea dialect completed the lamino-prepalatal affrication from lamino-alveolar unlike dialects of Yukjin in the early 20th centuries and modern Hunchun in China, but has no active affrication of *t>ʧ, *tʰ>ʧʰ like those dialects.
