사회복지실천론 수업에서 활용한 역할극의 경험에 대한 연구 = The use of Role-play for social work practice education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to explore how the BSW students experience role play used in social work practice class. Students’feedback addressed the experience, the usefulness, and the challenges of this educational intervention by using role play. Before starting the role-play, students were excited about doing that, but they were embarrassed when they started to take role-play. They also started to do self-reflection as social workers. Role playing provided students with mutual learning. The usefulness of role-play were the followings: they had better understanding the process of social work intervention; they experienced to be a social worker; they could have understand the clients better, specially unexpected clients and situations. The recommendation for challenges were the multiple source of choosing the scenarios of role-play, consideration of proper time and place, role allocation, and constructive and clear feedback to role-player.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문은 대학의 사회복지학부 사회복지실천론 수업에 도입하여 활용한 역할극에 대한 학생들의 경험을 연구하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 학생들의 역할극 경험과 역할극이 사회복지실천을 배우는 데 도움이 된 점, 향후 개선했으면 하는 점들을 연구하였다. 역할극을 시작하기 전에 학생들은 역할극을 한다는 사실에 대해 흥분과 기대를 가지고 있었고, 역할극을 처음 해보면서 당혹감을 느끼며 사회복지사로서의 ‘나’에 대한 반성을 시작하였다. 또, 역할극의 매 순간은 학생들에게 상호배움의 기회를 제공하였다. 사회복지실천의 교육과 학습에 있어서 역할극이 유익했던 점들은 사회복지실천 개입의 단계들을 구체적으로 알 수 있게 되었다는 것, 사회복지사가 되어 가는 과정을 경험해 보았다는 것, 클라이언트를 더 잘 이해하게 되었고 예측할 수 없는 클라이언트나 상황에 대하여 준비할 수 있게 되었다는 것이다. 반면 역할극 수행에 있어 보완되어야 할 점들로는 역할극의 시나리오 선택의 다양화, 시간과 장소에 대한 고려, 적절한 역할 할당, 피드백 제공 방식의 체계화와 명확화 등이 제안되었다.
