지역공동체의식이 주민참여에 미치는 영향 분석-제주특별자치도를 중심으로- = Resident participation raises local community consciousness, which is vital for the success : Jeju Special Self- Governing Privince.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to understand the actual condition of local sense of community in Jeju which is supposed to relatively well-preserving tradition and to analyze the influence of this local sense of community on the resident participation. The results of this study are summarized we found that all the independent variable which are component factors of the local sense of community, such as the feelings of belonging, solidarity, satisfaction and closeness, are statistically relative to the dependent variable, the resident participation. In conclusion, through analyzing the relation between local sense of community and resident participation, we found that the local sense of community could be one of the motivation of resident participation. Therefore, for the development and qualitative improvement of the local autonomy, when framing polices, proper consideration is needed which is concerning how can improve the local sense of community
