지리교육에서 다문화교육을 위한 교수-학습 방안 모색: 한국지리(7차개정시안)를 중심으로 = A Study on Development of Instruction-Learning Model for Multicultural Education in Geographical Education: Focused on Korean Geography(7th Curriculum Amendment)

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this paper is to grope the possibility of multicultural education in geographical education and to develop an instruction-learning model for multicultural education in geographical education. This paper suggests the instruction-learning model for multicultural education in the case of content which is about foreign workers immigration to South Korea. The case unit of this paper is Qualities of life and problems of our country in Korean geography curriculum. This paper is an approach of multicultural contents in geographic education. Multicultural society in Korea is formed by the interaction of global and national contexts. The global contexts connect with globalization of economy and international migration of labor. The national contexts are related with the characteristic of population, the inequality of urban-rural, Korean`s 3D avoiding, etc. The multicultural education in geographic education has to include the contents which are required in globalization. Geographic education studies many regions in the world and researches the diversity of culture and ethnic group, etc. Therefore, geography is a very proper and useful subject for multicultural education.
