방송 프로그램의 심의기준에 대한 이해관련자들의 인식유형 연구: Q방법론적 접근 = A Type Analysis Study on the Perception of Broadcasting Codes: Q-Methodology Application

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper tried to examine the perception of broadcasting codes through Q-methodology. As a result of analysis, four dimensional types were found. The first type strongly criticized excessive commercialization of broadcasting and assigned much value to broadcasting code prohibiting violent and sexual expression. On the contrary, the second type focused on public aspects and social responsibility of broadcasting rather than commercialization and therefore regarded the codes concerning accurate/ balanced/ objective reporting and community spirit as important. The third type was more normative than the second type in that it demanded strict observance of the rules on advertising as well as reporting. Lastly, the fourth type took a flexible attitude to content regulation. Basically this type also preserved a critical perspective on problems of entertainment programs, especially violence, but at the same time recognized the need to relax the regulation from a viewpoint of freedom of expression.
