다문화적 인식이 정책태도에 미치는 영향 = The Effects Multicultural Awareness on Policy Attitude: With special reference to the experts group

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 이주자정책에 직·간접적으로 영향을 미칠 수 있는 전문가집단을 대상으로 다문화적 인식을 파악하고, 이러한 다문화적 인식이 정책태도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 연구의 목적은 다문화 담론의 확산을 주도하는 집단의 다문화적 인식과 정책태도를 분석해봄으로써 한국의 다문화주의의 현주소를 진단하고 이주자정책의 방향을 예측하는데 있다. 분석 결과에 의하면, 전문가집단의 다문화적 인식은 높은 수준이라고 보기 힘들고, 이주자정책에 대해서도 이주자의 권리보호 및 권익증진을 위한 정책에서는 다소 배제적인 태도를 보였으며, 다문화적 인식수준이 정책태도에 중요한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this research is to identify multicultural awareness for the expert group who can directly and indirectly influence on the migrant policy, to diagnose the current situation of multiculturalism of Korea by analyzing the degree of influence of such multicultural awareness on policy attitude and to forecast the policy on migrants. The result of analysis revealed that the multicultural awareness level the expert group was not so high and the variable factors for population which influences on the awareness level turned out to be region, organization where the person belonged, field, work experience and education. And the policy for the protection of right and the promotion of benefits for migrants showed somewhat exclusive attitude, and the multicultural awareness level seemed to have important influence on the attitude of policy.
