산업클러스터 발전의 결정요인 : 두 도시의 사례

국문 초록 (Abstract)

지역산업경쟁력의 제고과정에서 지역단위의 연관 및 지원 산업, 관련 기관 등의 결집체 내지 산업클러스터가 최근 주목받고 있다. 따라서 국내외적으로 산업클러스터의 원리와 유형, 그리고 발전단계 등에 대한 다양한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 동일한 맥락에서, 본 연구는 산업클러스터 발전의 결정요인을 밝히기 위해서 관련 선행연구의 검토, 두 도시의 대표적 산업집적지를 대상으로 한 전문가 설문조사 형태의 사례연구를 실시하였다. 문헌연구를 통하여 적절한 분석항목을 도출하고, 분석적 계층화(AHP) 기법을 이용하여 분석결과의 구체성을 높이고자 하였다. 분석결과, 연관산업 요인을 제외하고는 공통적으로 적용 가능한 산업클러스터 발전 결정요인의 구체화는 용이하지 않은 것으로 밝혀졌다. 따라서 관련 정책수립 및 집행과정의 유효성을 위해서는 개괄적인 틀의 범위 내에서 적어도 산업별ㆍ발전단계별ㆍ지역별로 차별화된 접근이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In recent years industrial clusters, implying geographic concentrations of interconnected companies and associated institutions in particular fields have received increasing attention from scientists as well as from policy makers. Therefore, various researchers actively attempt to clarify the working principles, patterns, and development phases of industrial clusters. In the same context, this study has implemented a literature review and a questionnaire survey for specialists to identify the factors governing the development of industrial clusters. By the literature review, we draw some suitable items for analysis and apply them AHP(analytical hierarchy process) technique. AHP technique is good for a differentiated analysis. The results of the analysis suggest that it is not easy to find out general factors of adequately determining the development of industrial clusters except related industries factor. Thus, it is necessary to identify those factors that can be determined at least by industry, development phase, and region. We need a differentiated approach.
