도시 어메니티를 위한 유휴공간 활용사례 연구 = 고가도로 하부공간을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

도시가 변화하고 발전하는 과정 속에서 여러 가지 이유로 인하여 유휴공간이 발생하였다. 이를 국가적으로는 부족한 토지자원을 효율적으로 활용하기 위하여, 도시민에게는 쾌적하고 풍요로운 삶의 욕구를 충족하기 위하여 다각적으로 활용되어지고 있다. 그러나 일시적인 미관상의 변화는 또 다시 무관심과 방치를 초래하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 고가도로 하부공간을 중심으로 도시 어메니티 환경을 도모하고 도시민과의 유기적 활성화 방안을 모색하며 그에 따른 개선방안을 제시하여 그 활용가치를 높이고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 먼저 이론고찰을 통하여 대상공간을 정확하게 파악하고 ,국내의 고가도로 하부공간의 활용사례 5곳을 선정하여 공공공간 가이드라인을 바탕으로 어메니티의 구성요소를 평가의 기준으로 분석하였다. 분석된 자료를 토대로 연구결과인 도시 어메니티를 위한 고가도로 하부공간의 활용제안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 도심의 고가도로는 해당 지역의 특성에 적합한 지역적 성격을 지녀야 한다. 둘째, 문화성을 상징으로 하는 지역의 정체성을 확립해야 한다. 이는 지역의 경쟁력 확보와 다양한 문화활성화 교류에 기여할 수 있다. 세째, 경제 활성화를 위한 유기적 연결이 확보되어야 한다. 경제적 변화는 지역의 지속가능한 잠재적 발전성을 지닌다. 네째, 고가도로 하부공간이 갖는 환경적 특성을 고려한 환경을 제공해야 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Unused spaces have been formed for various reasons in the process cities change and grow. Such unused spaces are multi-laterally utilized as nationally insufficient land resources in order to fulfill the desire of citizens to have comfortable and abundant living. But the situation is that the temporary aesthetic change is again causing indifference and neglectedness. Accordingly, the objective of this study is to promote urban amenity environment around the spaces beneath overpasses, and to enhance their usefulness by groping for a way to organically invigorate use of the spaces by the citizens and presenting an improvement plan. For this, the object spaces were accurately grasped first through theoretical review, and the components of the amenity were analyzed as the criteria for evaluation based on the public space guidelines after selecting 5 cases of utilizing the space beneath a domestic overpass. As a result of the study conducted based on the analyzed data, we propose utilization of spaces beneath overpasses for city amenity as follows: First, an urban area overpass should have local nature suitable to the characteristics of the relevant area. Second, the identity of the district symbolized by its cultural character should be established. It may contribute to securement of district competitiveness and invigoration and exchange of diverse cultures. Third, continuous connection for revitalization of economy should be secured. Economic change has a potential for sustainable future advancement of the district. Fourth, the environment should be provided considering the environmental characteristics of the space beneath the overpass.
