학교단위 전문가학습공동체 형성 및 활성화를 위한 분산적 지도성 실행: 그 과제와 시사점 = The Significance and challenges of distributed leadership practice for building school-based professional learning community

국문 초록 (Abstract)

학교공동체는 학교의 발전과 변화에 지대한 영향을 미친다. 하지만 국내에서 논의 중인 학교공동체는 아직 학교공동체 형성 전략을 규범적으로 제시하거나 학교가 공동체로 전환되어야 하는 당위성을 강조하는 수준에 머무르고 있다. 이러한 문제의식에 기초하여 본 연구는 대안적 관점에서 학교공동체의 구체적인 모델로 “학교단위의 전문가학습공동체(school-based professional learning community)”를 제시한다. 본 연구는 문헌에 기초한 탐색적 연구로서 전문가학습공동체 형성 및 활성화를 위한 전문가학습공동체와 분산적 지도성의 개념과 의의를 살펴본 후, James Spillane이 제시한 분산적 지도성 이론의 주요 요소를 기본적인 분석틀로 하여 학교단위의 전문가학습공동체 형성 및 실천을 위한 분산적 지도성 실행의 의의와 과제를 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

School community has a large impact on the development and change of school. However, in Korea, a discussion on school community has suggested strategies for building school community or remained at a level that emphasizes the necessity to be converted into a school community. In this context, this study suggests 1) school-based professional learning community as alternative to realize future-oriented school community and 2) practice of distributed leadership as catalysts to facilitate building professional learning community. Therefore, as a preliminary study, this research aims to explore the theory of school-based professional learning community and distributed leadership, as well as to ruminate school reality. With these research goals, this study analyzed the present status and conditions in school organization through three concepts such as leader-plus, situation, and organizational culture to which distributed leadership theory referred. In addition, the research explores challenges and implications to build school-based professional learning community.
