커뮤니케이션 능력은 우리를 강하고 행복하게 만든다 = 회복탄력성과 자기결정성을 통해본 커뮤니케이션 능력의 역할

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the present study is to examine the structural relationship between communication competence and life satisfaction through resilience, autonomy, and relatedness. For the present study, we hypothesized a structural model (1) to examine the effects of autonomy and relatedness, assumed to be influenced by communication competence, on resilience and life satisfaction and (2) to investigate how these effects are moderated by group differences manifested in the three independent samples: middle school, high school, and college students. The data with each sample fit the hypothesized model well. Through the analysis, the results show that communication competence has influence on life satisfaction thorough autonomy, relatedness, and resilience even though communication competence and life satisfaction do not have any direct relationship. The series of multi-group analyses show that communication competence improves life satisfaction through the mediating variables. The implication of the present study is that in order to enhance the level of resilience and life satisfaction of adolescents, educators need to focus more on communication competence development.
