영유아 자녀를 둔 아버지의 심리적 특성에 대한 잠재적 유형과 양육참여, 양육태도, 자녀의 또래놀이 상호작용 간의 관계 = Relationships among Psychological Characteristics of Infant-Father, Parenting Engagement and Attitude, and Young Children’s Interactive Peer Play

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 아버지의 심리적 특성에 관한 다중 심리적 속성에 접근한 연구가 부족하다는 문제의식에 근거하여 아버지의 심리적 특성에 대한 잠재적 집단을 통해 각 집단에 속해있는 아버지의 심리적 특성을 파악하고, 잠재적 집단 분류에 따라 아버지의 양육참여 및 양육태도와 자녀의 또래놀이 상호작용에 차이가 있는지 살펴보는 것이었다. 이를 위해 한국아동패널 4차년도 데이터를 활용하였으며, 잠재프로파일분석, 다변량분산분석, 일원분산분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 아버지의 심리적 상태는 자기효능감, 자아존중감, 그리고 우울의 다중 속성에 의해 (1) 심리적으로 불행한 집단, (2) 심리적으로 안정된 집단, (3) 심리적으로 행복한 집단의 세 개 하위 잠재 집단으로 구분되었다. 둘째, 아버지가 심리적으로 건강하고 행복한 집단일수록 양육참여와 긍정적 양육태도 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 아버지의 심리적 특성이 건강하고 행복한 집단의 자녀들은 유아의 사회성을 대표적으로 보여주는 또래와의 놀이 상호작용이 원만한 것으로 확인되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to identify psychological groups of infant-father by using a Latent Profile Analysis(LPA) and to explore influences of fathers’ psychological characteristics on parenting engagement and attitude and young children’s interactive peer play. By using a sample of Korean infant-fathers from the 4th year of Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey, three groups were generated regarding self-efficacy, self-esteem, and depression: (1) psychologically depressed group (2) psychologically stable group (3) psychologically pleased group. In order to examine the significant differences among indices of infant-fathers‘ psychological status, a Multinomial Logistic Regression and One-way ANOVA were conducted. As a result, psychologically more stable and pleased group of infant-fathers were more likely to engage in parenting and to have more positive attitude toward parenting. Moreover, a child of psychologically pleased infant-fathers showed sociable relationships with peers through on interactive peer play.
