자폐성 장애 아동의 애착 증진을 위한 모-민감성 증진 부모교육 프로그램 개발 = The Development of Maternal Sensitivity Improvement Parent-Education Program for Enhancing Attachment of Children with Autism

The purpose of this study was to develop and to examine a maternal sensitivity improvement parent-education program for enhancing attachment of children with autism. For this purpose, a maternal sensitivity improvement parent-education program was developed based on the review of related literature and the results of the survey on the need. The program consists of12 sessions containing 5 parts: (a) ``understanding the importance of attachment and maternal sensitivity``, (b) ``noticing child``s signals``, (c)‘understanding the behaviors of children``, (d) ``responding appropriately``, (e)‘exploring and solving hindering factors of maternal sensitivity``. To confirm the effectiveness of the program, pre and post test were evaluated by two groups. The participants of this study were 40 mothers of children with autism. 40 mothers were assigned to the experimental group and the control group consisting of 20 mothers each. The instruments used in this study to address the research questions were Attachment Behavior Q-set (AQS) and Maternal Behavior Q-set (MBQ). The results showed that ASQ and MBQ scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than when compared with scores of the control group in the post-test. This indicated that maternal sensitivity improvement parent-education program has positive effect on maternal sensitivity and mother-child attachment stability.
