체육멘토링 봉사프로그램의 교육적 이슈와 딜레마 = An Autoethnography: The Educational Issue and Dilemma of Physical Education Mentoring Volunteering Program

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 연구자가 지난 1년간 운영한 체육멘토링 봉사프로그램 경험을 1인칭 주인공 시점으로 교육적 이슈와 딜레마를 이야기함으로써 배움(學), 가르침(敎), 그리고 나눔(共)의 과정을 통해 회고적으로 탐색하는 데목적이 있다. 연구 참여자는 1999년 수도권 소재 K중학교에서 교직을 시작으로 현재 S고등학교에서 15년째 체육교사로 근무하고 있는 연구자 자신과 고등학생 멘토 10명, 초등학생 멘티 10명이다. 자료수집은 2012년3월부터 2013년 2월까지 본교의 체육멘토링 봉사프로그램에 참여한 멘토와 멘티 학생들과 연구자 자신의 자기회상자료, 참여관찰, 연구일지, 심층면담, 사진 등이 이용되었다. 수집된 자료는 수시로 읽고 자주 언급된 내용과 인상적 내용들을 발췌하여 분석과 재해석을 하였다. 연구결과는 저자가 직접 경험한 교육적 이슈와 딜레마를 ``배움(學)`, ``가르침(敎)`, ``나눔(共)`의 과정을 통해 회고적으로 이야기하였다. 멘토들은 ``배움`의 과정을 통해 교사의 역할을 경험하면서 남을 가르치는 것이 어렵다는 사실을 인식하게 되었다. ``가르침`의 과정에서는 체육실기지도 법 수업을 통해 교수법과 교과내용 지식을 습득하고 멘티 학생들에게 자신의 재능을 기부함으로써 멘토링의 참된 가르침을 실천 하였다. ``나눔`의 과정에서는 멘토링 경험이 지역사회와 함께 살아가는 마음을 갖게 만들고 재능기부의 보람을 느끼게 하였다. 결론적으로 효과적인 체육멘토링 봉사프로그램의 실천은 지역사회와 더불어 살아갈 수 있는 민주시민 정신을 함양하고, 다양한 학교급에서 일반화 할 수 있는 모범사례가 될 것으로 기대된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to analysis exploratory on experiences of physical education mentoring volunteering program and to understand operated P.E. teacher`s experiences and emotions and to serve practical knowledge in high school field for last 1 year. The subjects for this study was me who have been teaching P.E. class since 1999 and 10 high school students(mentor) and 10 elementary school students(mentee). Data collection was lasted for 2012. 3 to2013 1 for 1 year. I have been used self-reflection data, participant observation, research journals, and in-depth interviews, photos. I often read the collected data over and over and reanalysis the data. The results of the study showed that there are three themes, one was study, second was teaching and third was sharing. First of all, mentor thought that teaching is very difficult for teacher`s roles. Second, In the process of teaching, mentors practiced their own teaching talent by me in the physical education sport instruction class about teaching method and content knowledge. In the process of sharing, mentor recognized that experiences of mentoring made them having sharing with community and felt that worth of talent donations. Overall, effective P.E. mentoring volunteering program give students to live in the community with civic and expect to suggestion in the several school classes to generalize on P.E. mentoring volunteering program.
