신체활동을 통한 수학교육이 유아의 수학적 개념 발달에 미치는 효과 = The Effect of Mathematics Education through Physical Activities on Mathematical Concept Development in Early Childhood

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to examine the effects of mathematics education through physical activities on mathematical concept development in early childhood. After developing a mathematics education program through physical activities, five-year-old children participated in the program sixteen times for 8 weeks. The comparisonand analysis of the difference in pre- and post- test points was gained from the experiment group of 20 children and the control group of 20 children.
The results are as follows:
The mathematicseducation program through physical activities showedsignificant influence on the mathematics concept development in the areas of number, space,and measurement.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 신체활동을 통한 수학교육이 유아의 수학적 개념 발달에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 신체활동을 통한 수학교육 프로그램을 개발한 뒤 만 5세 유아에게 8주간 총 16회에 걸쳐 프로그램을 실시하고, 실험집단 유아 20명과 통제집단 유아 20명의 사전-사후검사 점수의 변화를 비교․분석하였다. 그 결과 신체활동을 통한 수학교육 프로그램은 수, 공간, 측정 영역에서 수학적 개념 발달에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
