경기도 지역의 다문화가정과 일반가정 청소년의 생활실태 조사 : 학교생활과 가정생활을 중심으로 = A Comparative Study on the Living Conditions of Teenagers from Multicultural Family and Normal Family in Gyeonggi Prefecture - Based on School Life and Family Life

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 국제결혼가정 자녀와 외국인 근로자가정 자녀를 포함한 다문화가정 자녀를 대상으로 대규 모 실태조사를 실시하여 이들의 현황과 실태를 파악하고자 하였다. 학교에 재학 중인 다문화가정 청소년 이 전국에서 가장 많은 경기도 지역을 선정하여 이들의 한국생활 적응실태를 설문조사를 통해 알아보았 으며, 동일한 조사도구를 일반학생 청소년에게도 적용하여 이들의 생활실태와 비교 분석함으로써 실제적 인 현상에 근거한 다문화교육 정책방안 마련에 기초자료를 제공하였다. 연구방법으로는 다문화가정 청소 년과 일반학생 청소년을 대상으로 한 설문조사 방법을 채택하였으며, 두 집단 간의 학교생활과 가정생활 에 대한 조사결과를 비교 분석하였다. 다문화가정 청소년이 학교생활에서 겪고 있는 어려움, 놀림이나 차 별 발생정도 및 대처방식, 그리고 가정생활에서 느끼는 화목정도, 부모와의 관계 및 외국인 부/모에 대한 인식 등을 알아보는 데 중점을 두었으며, 일부 문항에 대하여는 비교집단인 일반가정 청소년의 경우와 비교 분석함으로써 정확한 실태에 근거한 정책 시사점을 도출하려 하였다

This study was designed to find out details of the current status and reality through a reality study on a large size against teenagers from multicultural families including those of international marriage family and foreign worker's family. The target was selected from Gyeonggi province where the number of students from multicultural families are the highest, with general students as a comparison group at the same time. Against them, a survey was conducted on how well they are penetrated into Korean society. Based on the result, practical, feasible policies were suggested. As for study method, a survey was adopted against young people from both multicultural families and general households, and then study results of the two groups on their school and family life were compared and analyzed. Its focus was put on the difficulties, the frequency of teasing and discrimination, their response, family concord level, relationship with parents, and awareness toward foreign parents. Through comparing and analyzing the results from the two groups of young people from multicultural and general families, supporting measures were produced based on the actual reality.
