친사회성 프로그램이 양육시설아동의 정서행동문제감소에 미치는 효과 = The Effect of a Prosocial Program on Emotional and/or Behavior Problems of Children in Care Facilities

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study intends to identify the effect of a prosocial program on decreasing emotional and/or behavior problems of children in care facilities. In order to carry out the study, 13 children accommodated in a child care center located in J city of Gyeongsangnam were chosen first and later 6 children who needed the prosocial program were selected as the final choices. The results achieved after applying the prosocial program to this study are as follows. First, the prosocial program was effective in decreasing externalizing behavior problems of children in care facilities. Especially, it was very effective to decrease the externalizing behavior by decreasing the aggression. Second, the prosocial program was effective in decreasing internalizing behavior problems of children in care facilities. The internalizing behavior problem seemed to decrase while the depression and somatization disorder problem was decreasing. Third, the prosocial program was effective in decreasing other behavior problems of children in care facilities. Fourth, the prosocial program was effective in increasing social adaptive skills of children in care facilities. Through the results I reached prosocial program was effective in decreasing emotional and/or behavior problems of children in care facilities. The prosocial program used in this study was generally comprised of the content about basic skills in social life, the ability to adapt to child care facilities, the ability to make friendships, the ability to control feelings, handling situations with non-aggressive behaviors and dealing with stress, which contributed to improving social adaptive skills.
