This study is aimed to figure out which facts would effect on the ability to adjust to preschool meaningfully. Currently, as the numbers of children of preschool have been increased, the children`s adjustment to preschool became an important factor for the infant development. However, the numbers of children with maladjustment to their preschool has been increased as well. To find out the facts, this study conducted a survey to 360 teachers working at preschool in Seoul for one month of October 2016, and the results are as follows;
Firstly, child`s temperament, family strengths and mother`s childrearing attitude effected on the adjustment to preschool as dependent variable in a positive way. It shows that family strengths effected on the adjustment to preschool most.
Secondly, child`s temperaments, family strengths and mother`s childrearing attitude effected on the teacher-child relationships relatively. And family strengths effected on the teacher-child relationships most.
Thirdly, teacher-child relationships effected on the adjustment to preschool in a positive way. In the other words, if teacher-child relationship has low in the scale of conflict, then the infant could adjust to their preschool better.
Lastly, teacher-child relationships has a meaningful mediated effect among the effect of child`s temperaments, family strengths and mother`s childrearing attitude on adjustment to preschool.
